The Future in Mind mental health support team received £300 from EyUp! to buy resources aimed at engaging families in fun and informative wellbeing activities.
With the funding the team purchased arts and crafts, bubbles, small fidget toys, colouring books, journals and play doh. These resources and activities have enabled the team to create a supportive environment where families can learn about mental health together, fostering stronger connections and promoting overall wellbeing
Sara Kendrick, practice development lead, Future in Mind mental health support team said “Our team has been able to enhance opportunities for engagement with children, young people and families with the generous funding from the EyUp! charity. They have been able to connect with local communities whilst sharing family friendly activities using the creative resources.
“We hope to develop the project further by creating more engaging wellbeing activities not only at community events but also in one to one and small group interventions.
