Barnsley Recovery and Wellbeing College was awarded over £280 from EyUp! for new cameras and embossing machines to improve their scrapbooking for wellbeing course.

Scrapbooking for wellbeing is a staple course within the Recovery College prospectus. The new equipment has given learners the opportunity to explore nature, take photos of the grounds and then creatively include them in their scrapbooks. The use of the embossing machines has added another skill and set of craft styles for learners.

The addition of embossed art and the ability to use photography has added value, experience and improved the course offer.

Jonathan Durrans, recovery coach at Barnsley Recovery and Wellbeing College said “The addition of the cameras and the embossing machines has added greatly to the course offer. I’ve seen learners enjoying and exploring nature, developing craft skills and creating something new, personal and fulfilling”
